On Sunday the 24th of July over two dozen volunteers from Moms Demand Action came back again to Minneapolis Avenues to help make the house a source of beauty and pride for the neighborhood. Having already planted flowers and cleaned up the landscaping, the group weeded, watered, washed, mowed, mulched, trimmed, and made the property look incredible.

Moms Demand Action is a part of a larger national movement aimed at reducing gun violence. The intersection between neighborhood pride and violence prevention is well documented.
