During their “Winter Break Week,” Topline Financial Credit Union employees split up into teams for fun competitions to support building relationship and giving back to the community. This year they engaged in “Penny Wars!” Each team could bring in pennies for their own jars to count as points, and silver coins to deposit into competitor team jars to take away points. At the end of the week the team with the most pennies and least amount of silver, wins!
In total, Topline collected enough pennies and presented Avenues with a check for $1,940.74! Executive Director Katherine Meerse met up with the winning team to celebrate their success and thank them (again!) for their unending generosity for Avenues for Youth and the young people we partner with.
