On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, eleven adults and two committed kids from Moms Demand Action spent four hours cleaning the grounds of Minneapolis Avenues. The group picked up all the trash, broken branches, and raked out all the garden beds, resulting in two giant piles of sticks, five bags of garbage, and forty-eight full garden bags!
The group is committed to ending gun violence and promoting community partnership. This clean-up day is the first project before they return with flowers and plants to make Minneapolis Avenues a point of pride!
