The Minnesota Aurora FC is one of those community partners you just cannot say enough good things about. Their team and staff went above and beyond to learn about Avenues, LGBTQI+ youth homelessness, and the ConneQT Program model. Then they thought creatively about how they can help create a positive impact.
During their June 17th Pride Night game (to a sold-out crowd of 6,500 at TCO Stadium in Eagan), Aurora featured Avenues as their spotlighted charity. Not only did Avenues appear larger than life on the scoreboard, get center-stage attention during the opening coin-toss and several announcements during the game, but Avenues is also the beneficiary of a special T-shirt!
