The Osseo Lions Club is one of the most generous and consistent supporters of Avenues for Youth. Ever since ground was broken on the Brooklyn Park Avenues shelter in 2013, this club has consistent showed up and shown support for young people experiencing homelessness.
Each year the Lions, a club of 52 members in a town that is less than a square mile, raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities. Lion Robin Kaehler came by Avenues to present the check personally, meet the staff, and show her support.
