Our neighbors at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church are showing up for Avenues again! Their Vacation Bible School took place with the theme of “Who is your neighbor?” Avenues was chosen as their mission partner for this year’s program. As part of their activities, the children brought in coins and dollar bills for a collection to sponsor youth birthdays. They also made planters, with flowers in a rainbow of colors, to beautify walkways at both houses – Minneapolis Avenues and Brooklyn Avenues.
