Topline Financial Credit Union showed up in support of students. Their August school supply drive yielded scores of backpacks, pens, calculators, note books, binders, markers, and more. Literally over a thousand different items were donated to youth currently partnering with Avenues to support their educational goals.
Research compiled by the National Conference of State Legislators found that the lack of a high school diploma or GED is the number one correlate for elevated risk of youth homelessness. Avenues ensures all students in our programs have not only a safe and stable place to live, but with the help of partners like Topline, the resources to achieve their academic pursuits and bigger life dreams.
